Miss Christina

This is Miss Christina's second year of teaching with Miss Polly’s Music Class, but she is no stranger to teaching music to little ones.  For 7 years, she taught music to children in a small group setting and also taught weekly in an early education public school program for two years.  After taking a year off from teaching, she is excited to hear that Miss Polly’s Music Class is expanding to the Indianapolis area and is pleased to be a part of the team.

Miss Christina has a Bachelor of Science in Vocal Performance and Theatre from Indiana University.  While there, she performed in many productions on campus and was a member of the Singing Hoosiers.

Miss Christina and her husband Tim have 3 boys.  When the boys were much younger, she took them to a music class and that’s where she learned the value of early music education.  When all the boys went to school full time, she took the opportunity to start teaching music to little ones.  She absolutely loves to witness the wonder and freedom that children have as they listen and respond to music.

When not teaching, Miss Christina loves to travel, read, spend time with friends and family, and attend many theatre and music productions around Indianapolis.

Miss Christina hopes to make music with your little one!

Miss Maddie

This will be Miss Maddie’s third year of teaching with Miss Polly’s Music Class!  After having taken her daughter, Charlotte, to the summer pop-up music classes, Maddie loved the learning and social environment the classes offered...so she decided to inquire to become an instructor!

Before having Charlotte, Miss Maddie was an elementary teacher for three years.  With an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Indiana University Bloomington, Miss Maddie has a passion for letting little ones learn together through various learning styles. Originating from the Chicagoland area, Miss Maddie and her husband Nick decided to move to Columbus after college. They have now been here for six years and have grown to love the area, and the people in it. In addition to Charlotte, they recently welcomed a son named George in March. Outside of Music Class, she is a stay-at-home mom that loves to read, walk her dog Ronnie, all things Disney, exercise, and travel with her family.
