Amber Cooper

Amber, a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC), joined TMC in 2024 and brings a passion for fostering connection and learning through music. With a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy and a minor in Psychology from Loyola University New Orleans, Amber's experience includes working with individuals with diverse needs and engaging children in both group and one-on-one settings. In Parent and Me Music Classes, she uses music as a tool for learning, self-expression, and creating a fun and supportive environment for young children and their families.

Anna Quinn

Anna Quinn

Anna Laura Quinn is a New Orleans-based vocalist and bandleader who is rapidly gaining notice for her particular blend of contemporary jazz, well-loved tunes from the American Songbook, French and Brazilian music, and more. She received her Masters in Jazz Studies from University of New Orleans in May 2021, and released her first full length album entitled Open the Door in February 2022. Anna's work is propelled by her unwavering dedication to music, visual art, collaboration, and education. As an educator and music facilitator, she hopes to invite people of all ages to step into their inherent musicality and to experience the joy of singing, both individually and in community.

Avery Collins

Avery Collins is a singer, songwriter, teacher, composer, and worship leader. She is originally from Bryan, Texas and received a B.A. in Music with a concentration in classical voice from the University of North Texas in 2020. Avery has spent her time since undergrad teaching Kindergarten and 3rd-5th Grade Music at a Classical charter school in Texas. She is currently working on recording her first E.P. Avery aspires to use her music and her passion to teach children to inspire and lead others to beauty.

My husband is Coast Guard and that is what brought us, and our 3 children, to the Northshore and it is now home. I can’t wait to help you make memories that will last forever with your littles.

Katie Abraham

Katie Abraham is a 20 year old Music Therapy student in her junior year of college at Loyola University New Orleans with a minor in Psychology. While her main instrument is classical voice, she loves to sing musical theatre, jazz, and pop. Additionally, she is learning the guitar, piano, and ukulele. At her previous job, she was a summer camp supervisor in Chicago for over 2 years working with 6-7 year olds. Katie is excited to be a part of “The Music Class” community and combine her love of working with kids with her passion of music!

Sara Clawson

Sara is currently obtaining her B.A. in Musical Theater at the University of New Orleans. Sarah has been singing in choir and theater since she was a young child. Besides her love of singing, Sara starting playing the piano at age 6 and then the violin at age 12. Sara enjoys working with children as she helped and worked at her family's childcare center in her hometown of Monroe.

Sarah Ristaino is a songwriter, vocalist and multi instrumentalist from Raleigh, NC.  She has a B.A. in Music from UNC Asheville, and has been writing songs and playing shows since she moved to NOLA in 2017.  She also enjoys hikes with her Blue Heeler pup and is a flower enthusiast.

Sarah Ruth Altman is a studio music teacher and collaborative musician hailing from Jackson, MS. She received a BA in Music (Voice) and Elementary Education from Millsaps College in 2018. She is currently seeking an MS in Counseling and Music Therapy from Loyola University New Orleans. Catch her around town anytime someone says, “hey, want to sing?”
