Our Teachers

Catlin began her love of music and movement early in life through dance classes in her hometown in Houston, Texas. She began classes at three and continued through her college years.  She joined her high school theatre and band and developed a love for musical theatre and studying music in performance.  She went on to study stage acting at Texas State University, rated in the top 25 best schools internationally for theatre studies.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and booked various acting jobs in Houston,  Austin, and North Carolina. She has taught music, movement, and acting classes to children of all ages since graduating in 2009.  She has taught The Music Class curriculum through the Houston location for almost ten years. Catlin is proud and excited to introduce The Music Class to the families of River Valley! The experience of spreading the joy and love of music, and teaching parents and caregivers to guide their child's first musical exposure and witness their milestones, has been one of the biggest joys of her teaching career!
