Lisa Blossfield (Owner/Teacher) holds a BS in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance from Ball State University. Originally from Chicago, Lisa spent many years in NYC as a professional actor. She’s now starring in her all-time favorite role, playing Mom to three little ones, Libby, Nora and Dean! Lisa has taught a variety of music and theatre programs for children both in NYC and Chicago and acted as City Director of The Music Playhouse Lakeview. Lisa is passionate about incorporating the arts into a child’s life and feels grateful that she plays a part in that! Lisa has been seen in two Off-Broadway productions, several AIDS benefit concerts, and staged readings/musical reviews in NYC. She has also worked in numerous regional musical productions, in addition to the occasional commercial, one of which included a Mom/daughter spot with Libby! Here in Chicago, Lisa has been fortunate enough to perform with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, as well as many other Chicago theatre companies, and to sing the National Anthem at Wrigley Field. Lisa is extremely excited to guide your child through this musical journey of creating and learning at Baby Beats!
