Absences and Make-ups
Number of Make-ups Allowed
2 make-up classes are permitted for students enrolled in a full length session. (Extra make-ups are allowed for medical reasons.)
Consistency and predictability are very important to young children. We encourage you to attend your scheduled class. Make-ups may not be carried over into next session, unless the absence was due to health reasons and the child is registered for the following session.
Make-Up Procedure
Make-ups and absences can be scheduled on this web site by logging in and then using the links on the right, by email or by phone at 314-440-3336.
- Phone and email make-ups need to be requested at least two business days before the class you would like to attend.
- Web site make-ups can be schedules at the last minute, providing there is space available. The web site will only allow you to self schedule three make-ups. If you need additional make-ups because of medical reasons, please get a note from your doctor and call in the request.
Schedule Class Absences
If you let us know when you are going to miss a class we will open up your spot for someone who would like to schedule a make-up. You can schedule a class absence on this web site by loggin in and then using the links on the right, or by email. Please scheduled absences whenever possible.
Do Not Assume That You Will Be Able To Schedule A Make Up The Last Two Weeks Of The Session
Because so many people wait to the end of the session to schedules their make-ups it isn't possible to accommodate everyone. Please do your best to schedule a makeup before a scheduled absence.
Older Siblings/Guests
Guests apply to children, not adults
We do our best to allow older siblings to come to class on days when their school is not in session. We consider siblings who will participate in class "guests". To schedule a guest, first log in to our web site. Then click the "Bring a Guest" button on the right, and then complete the form. The fee is $15 per guest and the system will allow up to two guest registrations per session.
