Consistency and predictability are very important to young children. We encourage you to attend your scheduled class. Make-ups may not be carried over into next session, unless the absence was due to health reasons and the child is registered for the following session.
Make-Up Procedure
Make-ups and absences can be scheduled on this web site by logging in and then using the links on the right, by emailing melekeikikailua@gmail.com or by calling 808-600-4356
- Phone and email make-ups need to be requested at least two business days before the class you would like to attend.
- Web site make-ups can be scheduled at the last minute, providing there is space available.
- The website will only allow you to self schedule two make-ups. If you need additional please call in or email a request.
Schedule Class Absences
If you let us know when you are going to miss a class we will open your spot for someone who would like to schedule a make-up. Please schedule absences whenever possible.
Do Not Assume That You Will Be Able To Schedule A Make Up The Last Two Weeks Of The Session
Because so many people wait to the end of the session to schedule their make-ups it isn’t possible to accommodate everyone. Please do your best to schedule your make-ups earlier in the session. You’re welcome to schedule a makeup before a scheduled absence.
Older Siblings
We do our best to allow older siblings to come to class on days when their school is not in session. However, please monitor your older child's behavior and remember that the teacher needs to remain focused on the younger enrolled children. Sibling visits may be scheduled on the web site by selecting the Bring A Guest button. Please try to plan in advance. Once a class is full with makeups/guests, the system will not issue any more passes.
