The Music Class® takes health and safety concerns very seriously, not only for our smallest customers and their families, but also for our teachers and their families. The following is the health plan for Miss Laura's Music Class in-person classes until further notice.
General Information:
- Please bring a pair of socks to keep our mats clean.
- Snacks and drinks are not allowed in the music classroom. Water is the exception.
- We will use individual music kits instead of shared instruments. Sharing of community instruments will be infrequent, and in such instances instruments will be disinfected thoroughly before being used by another group.
Health procedures for in-person class:
- As of 2/28/22 Masks are optional in class. This policy may be subject to change per state of IL guidelines/community spread.
- Windows and door will open to ensure adequate air-flow. A baby gate will be used to prevent tiny music-makers from escaping. An air-purifier will be used in the room after each class and will be running during class if windows are closed.
- Both adult and child must use hand sanitizer or wash hands directly upon entering.
- Please remain at home if you or your child have any signs of illness.
