Wellness Guidelines

(as of 8/20/24)

In an effort to help keep all of our Music Class students, families, caregivers, and instructors well, Miss Polly has put the following procedures in place:

  • Both adult and child are to use hand sanitizer or wash hands directly upon entering.  Miss Polly will have hand sanitizer provided for you.
  • Please, please, please DO NOT come to class if your child, or their caregiver attending the class, are feeling ill.
  • If you, your child, or someone in your immediate family has Covid or the Flu, or has recently been exposed to someone with Covid or Flu, please stay home.
  • **Refer to the Beginning of Session Information Sheet (on website) for Absence/Make-Up procedures.  Please utilize your Caregiver Dashboard to schedule your child's absence & make-up.  Miss Polly will work with you if you have had more than the allotted 2 make-ups per 8-wk Session.  No worries!
  • To keep us all well, please follow your doctor's guidelines for returning to Music Class.
  • To keep our floor spaces clean, please WEAR SOCKS to class.  No bare feet, please.
  • Please respect other's space. To help with spacing, Miss Polly will have colored Velcro Music Sit Spots marked on the floor to allow for appropriate space and to help your child know where to “land.”
  • Instruments: Miss Polly's Music Class has loads of instruments for in-class use.  Miss Polly will have sanitized all instruments prior to class and immediately after class.  After each activity, Miss Polly will collect all used instruments in a bin. After/in between each Music Class, Miss Polly disinfects the instruments with alcohol spray.
  • Before the next class, please remain outside of the teaching room until Miss Polly opens the door.  This will give Miss Polly ample time to clean instruments and re-set for the next class. Thank you for your help with this!
  • Everyone should hand sanitize or wash hands after Music Class as well.

Note: For the health and safety of our Music Class families, the above procedures may be subject to change.
