Rob Sayer founded the Music Class, Inc. in January of 1998. Prior to that time he was teaching early childhood parent/child music classes using another program's materials. After being prodded by parents to come up with fresh materials for class, and not being able to find any published song collections with the kind of quality, variety and fun spirit he wanted, he decided to produce his own materials. Since that time The Music Class has taken off. The Music Class in Atlanta has 30 teachers servicing over 1800 students in metro-Atlanta in our Music Pups® program. In addition, Music Pups is offered by independent teaching centers in 150 cities in North America and ten countries internationally. Our CDs have earned honors including The National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval and The National Parenting Publications NAPPA Gold Award.
Our Business Style
There are large early childhood music education companies who aggressively market, tour and train potential teachers; seeking to get as many teachers as they can to use their materials. The Music Class is not one of those companies. We are a small family-owned business. Our emphasis is on quality and customer service. Rob Sayer, the developer and owner, runs the day-to-day operations of The Music Class. One of Rob’s primary jobs it to service you, the educator. He will work with you to help your business grow. Through efficiency Rob works to keep our prices among the lowest in the business. Despite our low profile, word of mouth continues to grow as educators discover the quality and service we offer.
