The Alta Vista

Shana loves music and teaching! She is passionate about combining fun fundamentals with sound instruction in singing and rhythm based program for children. Shana has taught Music Pups since September 2014 and has been teaching music since January 2007.

She has completed her Grade 8 Piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music, an Honours BA Specialization in Music and Masters of Arts in Music at the University of Ottawa. She studied musicology with Dr. Paul Merkley and studied with Canadian jazz pianist Brian Browne.

Shana offers music for all ages

Pre-keyboard lessons are for children from birth to age 3. TMC Music Pups® are up to 40 minutes in length. Activities include fun, singing, dancing, listening activities, rhythm instruments, etc. These classes are offered in 10 week blocks from September to June and are held in the Alta Vista area (near Haig and Pleasant Park) and the Glebe (Bronson and Clemow).
