Jeanette Luna has a bachelors degree in Voice Performance from Columbus State University and has done graduate coursework at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She's sung in choirs since she was a child and has sung in various young artist programs and competitions (GA Governors Honors Program, OperaWorks, Bel Canto Institute, State/Regional NATS, and National MTNA). She is also a career nanny, and a continuous learner in all things children with certifications in RIE Foundations (Resources for Infant Educarers): Theory and Observation, Foundational Newborn Care Solutions and Positive Parenting Solutions. Jeanette was introduced to The Music Class through nannying and has found her niche with her love of both music and children. She enjoys singing, dancing, and being silly with the little ones and is thrilled to be a part of your family's musical enrichment through The Music Class!
Favorite TMC Moment
My favorite TMC moment is when I have class where everyone is totally IN it. Completely engaged, singing loud, and laughing together… it feels magical and I know the children (and the grown-ups!) walk away from class feeling a special kind of bond with not just the music, but with their community. THAT is what I want to bring more to the world, belonging, through music.
