Carly Hughes

Carly started taking her daughter to music class at the Music Playhouse when she was just 10 months old, and now she is excited to join the TMP family as a teacher!  She has a Bachelor's degree in elementary education from Purdue and a graduate certification in literacy instruction from Ball State.  Before college, Carly studied voice and piano for many years. She taught piano with Irina Gorin's Piano Studio and performed competitively around the Indianapolis area.  As a Carmel native, she had wonderful opportunities to be involved with show choir and musical theatre from a young age.  She credits her public school teachers, choir directors, vocal coach, piano teacher, and parents with cultivating a love for music and a passion for teaching.  Carly is thrilled to bring her experience to The Music Playhouse and make music with your family!

Christina Dooley

Christina is thrilled to be in her 6th year of teaching with The Music Playhouse! She has first hand experience of TMP’s benefits as she had the opportunity to attend with her 3 boys years ago.  Music has been a big part of her life from a very early age, beginning with ballet and piano lessons and then singing, acting, and dancing every chance she could get. She performed around Indianapolis much of her childhood and continued to perform at Indiana University where she was a Singing Hoosier and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Vocal Performance and Theatre from IU school of Music.  When she’s not singing and dancing with TMP families, Christina loves to read, travel, and attend the various plays, concerts, and musicals Indianapolis and Carmel have to offer.
