TMC East Bay is offering The Music Class® program: Mixed-age classes for infants up to 4-year-olds with a parent or caregiver. Learn more about why you and your child should attend The Music Class here!
2025 Calendar:
Spring Session
- The full session is 10 weeks
- Classes start the week of March 2 - 8; ends the week of May 18
- No classes March 30 - Apr 5 (Spring Break); April 20 (Easter)
Summer Session
June to July (To be announced in April)
Fall Session
August to November (To be announced in April)
Winter Session
December to February (To be announced in August)
Tuition:
- The full 10-week session is $312.
- Siblings enrolling in the same program: With a full price registered sibling, sibling’s tuition is $242 and siblings 6 months and younger as of March 2, 2025, are free.
- Tuition includes access to the accompanying TMC music collection on The Music Class app and a hard copy songbook.
- Late registrations are welcome and prorated in all classes.

Extra grown-ups (spouses, grandparents, nannies etc.) are always welcome to join class without extra cost!
Additional Children:
We offer siblings discounts (age infant to 4 years old) for full session registration in the same Spring session. See the Tuition section above.
During the course of the session, if siblings or children guests would like to attend a class on a one-off occasion (e.g. older sibling is home for a no-school-day or a child relative is in town visiting), it is possible with a fee, seats availability permitting. Makeup Classes:
- Fall, Winter, and Spring session families can schedule 2 makeup classes at any time for any reason during their session. Families can schedule these makeups online through their Parent Dashboard.

Health & Safety Precautions:
- Do not come to class if you or your child is feeling sick, has had a fever within the last 24 hours, rashes, greenish discharge from the nose, excessive coughing, any communicable disease, or recent exposure to anyone with a communicable disease. Additional makeup classes can always be scheduled in case of illness.
- Adults and children must clean their hands with hand sanitizer or soap and water in the sink when they arrive.
- Please refrain from bringing snacks that include nuts into our studios.
- All mat areas of the studios are shoes-free. Adults are asked to wear socks in class. You may also bring your own blankets to sit on.
Instruments:
- We use communal instrument bins.
- In addition to hand washing, we ask you to keep careful track of any instruments that go in your child's mouth. All "tasted" instruments need to be cleaned with our alcohol spray bottles and paper towels before they are returned to our instrument bins.
