The Music Class East Bay
Welcome to The Music Class East Bay! We bring award-winning music, research-based early childhood music education to families across the East Bay and Tri-Valley.
We offer vibrant, baby & me style music and movement classes for children from newborn through age 4, accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or caregiver — at no extra charge.
Spring and Summer Registration are now open. Free trial classes are available for first-time families! To register, choose a location below and select your desired session and time.

What to Expect in Class
Each 45-minute session is filled with live singing, dancing, movement, and instrument exploration. Our sessions are designed to:

- Create a joyful bonding experience for children and caregivers together

Q: What ages are The Music Class East Bay classes for? A: Our classes welcome children from newborn through age 4, along with a parent or caregiver. No prior music experience is needed — for child or adult!
Q: Where does The Music Class East Bay offer classes? A: We offer open-enrollment classes in Castro Valley (on Redwood Rd) and Fremont (on Bay St). We also bring the program directly into childcare centers and preschools in Dublin and Castro Valley, serving families across the broader East Bay and Tri-Valley area.
Q: Can I try a class before committing to a full session? A: Yes! Free trial classes are available for first-time families on Saturday mornings at 9:30am in both Castro Valley and Fremont. To sign up, select a Saturday 9:30am class and choose "Trial Class" from the dropdown.
Q: Are siblings welcome? Is there a discount? A: Absolutely! Siblings are always welcome. With a registered sibling, siblings enrolling in the same session will receive a discount, and siblings 6 months and younger attend free. See our tuition page for full details.
Q: What is included in tuition? A: Tuition includes weekly 45-minute classes, access to The Music Class app with all session music, and a physical songbook to use at home.
Q: Do you offer classes inside schools and childcare centers? A: Yes! In addition to our public classes, we partner with select preschools and childcare centers in Dublin and Castro Valley to bring The Music Class directly to enrolled students. Q: How is The Music Class different from other children's music programs? A: The Music Class is an early childhood music education program with award-winning music and a research-based curriculum. Every element — the songs, instruments, movement activities, and pacing — is intentionally designed around how young children actually develop musically and cognitively.
Q: Are your classes welcoming to children with special needs or disabilities? A: Absolutely. We warmly welcome children as well as caregivers of all abilities, including children with autism, speech delays, and other developmental differences. We believe music and movement are for everyone. We encourage all families to come for a free trial class to experience the program firsthand and see if it's the right fit for your family.
