The Music Class Kirkwood
Join our fun-filled music and movement classes for children and their adults in a joyful and nurturing environment. The Music Class offers research-based education programs designed to unleash the musical potential of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. TMC is an international program based right here in Atlanta. We are also a family-owned and operated business! Many of our ATL teachers can be heard on the award-winning original music you receive in class.
The Music Class Kirkwood offers our full range of programs: The Music Class for infants through age 4, a dedicated Infants program for pre-walkers, Big Kids for ages 4-5, and Keyboard Year 1 for ages 5-7. The location is convenient for families throughout Kirkwood, East Atlanta, Edgewood, Inman Park, and Candler Park. Classes are offered Sunday through Saturday, including afternoon options.
We are at the corner of Hosea L Williams Drive NE and Howard St SE, next to Taproom and Indigo Salon, and catty-corner from Le Petit Marche.
Free Trial Classes are available for first-time families! Select "trial class" within the drop-down menu below.
Parking
Free parking is available in the Kirkwood Station parking lot behind our studio and on the street.
PARKING WARNING: The shopping center has the right to boot a car if they see the owner leave their car and immediately go to a business outside Kirkwood Station, such as across Hosea L Williams Drive. Go right to class and you'll be fine!

Fall 2026 Featuring The Giraffe Collection!

- The full session is 10 weeks. Fall registration includes The Giraffe Collection music on The Music Class app. Songbooks are provided to all families except for those receiving a Repeat Collection Discount.
- All classes meet once a week for 45 minutes.
- Classes start the week of August 8 - 14. Classes end the week of October 20 - 26.
- No classes September 5 - 7 (Labor Day), September 12 - 13 (Rosh Hashanah), September 21 (Yom Kippur), September 22 - 25 (TMC Fall Break)
- 4-week segments are available in some classes beginning August 3. Late registrations are always welcome and prorated!
Free Trial Classes are available for first-time families! Select "trial class" within the drop-down menu.
"Join Waitlist" indicates the class is sold out. Families are welcome to join the waitlist and will be contacted if a spot opens up!

Designed for babies who have not started walking yet. Children attend with their parent/caregiver. Research has shown that music enrichment during infancy is particularly powerful in enabling children to achieve their full musical potential. Young infants’ brains are developing at a faster rate than older children. By starting children in The Music Class at infancy, we are taking advantage of this critical development period and making the most difference in their abilities for the rest of their lives!
