Health & Safety Precautions:
- Do not come to class if you or your child is feeling sick, has had a fever within the last 24 hours, rashes, greenish discharge from the nose, excessive coughing, any communicable disease, or recent exposure to anyone with a communicable disease. Additional makeup classes can always be scheduled in case of illness.
- In addition to hand washing, we ask you to keep careful track of any instruments that go in your child's mouth. All "tasted" instruments need to be cleaned with our alcohol spray bottles and paper towels before they are returned to our instrument bins.
- Adults and children must clean their hands with hand sanitizer or soap and water in the sink when they arrive.
- UVC or HEPA air cleaners are installed in all TMC studios.
- Please refrain from bringing snacks that include nuts into our studios.
- All carpeted areas of the studios are shoe-free. Adults are asked to wear socks in class.
Instruments:
- We use communal instrument bins, however, families are more than welcome to create their own personal bins for use in class if they would prefer.
- Families can always bring their own instruments or use the TMC instruments provided in class.
- Instruments brought from home should include shakers, rhythm sticks, scarves, and play-along percussion. Be sure to bring enough instruments for each adult and child in your family. (Instrument kits are available for purchase from TMC.)
- We ask that all instruments brought from home be stored on our shelves during class and only brought down when needed.
- Parents/caregivers using TMC instruments will be responsible for cleaning those instruments before returning them to the communal bins.
